Frank E. Dobson, Jr., co-author of the Black Legacy Lessons book series for young people, along with his daughter Jasmin, is an educator based in Ohio who hails from Buffalo, New York. Holding a PhD in English, Frank has published two novels, The Race is Not Given (1999), and Rendered Invisible (2010), along with numerous other publications.  Like Jasmin, Frank has a passion for education as well as for contributing positively to his community.
